Yanggok Stone War

Every Thursday the clans fight a two-hour siege in . Break the enemy lanes stone by stone, destroy their Holy Stones, and every member of your clan earns +50% silver from monsters for a week.

What is the Yanggok Stone War?

The Yanggok Stone War is a weekly siege in where all clans fight at the same time. Each clan owns a lane of four stones: three Defend Stones and one Holy Stone at the far end. Break an enemy lane stone by stone and destroy its Holy Stone, and that clan is out. The last clan whose Holy Stone is still standing wins.

If no Nangin player is in when the war begins, the Nangin lane does not take part: its stones do not appear and the war is fought between the other clans. Chat shows: '[YSW] No Nangin players in Yanggok Valley -- Nangin sits out this war.'

When

For the 10 minutes before the start, a countdown runs in chat for the whole server. At the start everyone sees '[YSW] Yanggok Stone War has BEGUN in Yanggok Valley!'. The war is also listed in the Event Calendar (PC: Events button, mobile: MENU > Event Calendar).

Who can take part

Your character must be M33 to enter .

No registration, guild, party or Premium is needed. Being in the valley is enough.

Your clan is your side: you fight together with every member of your clan.

How to get there

Teleport Scroll: Buy a from the Herbalist in your clan's main town: in , in or in . Use it and choose .

On foot: Or walk through the gate from your clan's outer field: , or . , and also have a gate to .

Be early: Arrive during the countdown, group up with your clan and agree on a lane before the war begins.

The stones

Every Defend Stone has 40,800,000 HP and every Holy Stone has 15,000,000 HP, so one lane holds 137,400,000 HP. War chat calls them 'Defend Stone 1/2/3' and 'Holy Stone', with the short clan names Dragon, Snake, Tiger and Nangin. Stones drop no items.

Defend Stone 1 stands near the middle of the valley. Defend Stone 2 and 3 lead outward, and the Holy Stone stands alone at the far end of the lane.

On the map, the Noble Dragon lane runs to the left (west), the Royal Serpent and Grand Tiger lanes run down (south), and the Nangin lane runs to the right (east).

Map of the four lanes, drawn from the server's stone positions (north is up). 1, 2, 3 = Defend Stones in breaking order, diamond = Holy Stone, dashed circle = the stone's attack range. As war chat names them: DRAGON = Noble Dragon (west), SNAKE = Royal Serpent and TIGER = Grand Tiger (south), NANGIN = Nangin (east).

Rules of the stones

Go in order. Break an enemy lane from Defend Stone 1 to 2 to 3, then the Holy Stone.

No skipping. If you step into the range of a stone while an earlier stone of the same lane is still standing, it hits you for 100,000,000 and you die at once. For a Holy Stone, that means while any of its three Defend Stones stands.

The Holy Stone is shielded while any Defend Stone of its clan stands. When the third falls, chat shows '[YSW] <Clan> Holy Stone is now VULNERABLE!'

Stones fight back. Once per second every standing stone hits each enemy player near it for a fixed 40,000 damage. Holy Stones attack too, but you cannot see their shots.

A normal stone hit cannot kill you if your max HP is 40,000 or more: it leaves you at 1 HP, and then any enemy can finish you. If your max HP is below 40,000, one hit kills you.

You cannot damage your own clan's stones, and your own stones never hit you.

Alliances do not count during the war. Allied clans can attack your stones and your stones attack them, and allied players can fight each other in the valley. An allied stone's nameplate may look friendly, but it still hits you.

Dying to a stone costs no EXP.

In the Noble Dragon lane, Defend Stone 2 and 3 stand very close together, and so do Defend Stone 1 and 2 in the Nangin lane. There is no safe gap between them. Always attack a stone from the side away from the next stone of its lane.

How to win

Destroy the Holy Stone of every other clan that takes part. When only one clan's Holy Stone is left, the war ends at once: '[YSW] Yanggok Stone War is over -- <Clan> WINS!'

If two or more clans are still standing when the 2 hours are over, or the last two Holy Stones fall at the same moment, there is no winner that week.

The whole server follows the war in chat: every destroyed stone, every stone at 75%, 50% and 25% HP, and every eliminated clan is announced.

Reward

Every member of the winning clan, online or offline, gets +50% silver from monsters on every map. The bonus lasts until the end of the next Stone War, about one week. It raises the amount of silver, not the drop chance. Winners see a fire-ring buff icon at the start of their buff row.

The bonus is for the winning clan only. Allied clans do not get it.

It stacks with your other silver bonuses: Premium (+50%) and Supporter Premium (+25%).

The war itself gives no items, CP or War Points. Killing enemy players in pays the map's normal reward: CP and 1 Hero Rank point per kill.

If the next Stone War ends with no winner, the bonus ends with it.

Tips

Turn Auto Hunt off near the stones. Auto movement can carry you into a stone's range.

Auto PVP does not take you to the Stone War. Travel to yourself.

Split your clan: one group breaks an enemy lane while another guards your own Defend Stone 1.

Low max HP? Stay out of stone range and fight the enemy players instead; let tougher players take the stone hits.

Bring plenty of potions: standing near a stone costs 40,000 HP every second.
