Road to Max Level
Levels go from Lv 1 to Lv 112, then the Master levels M1 to M33. M33 (level 145) is the cap. This page shows where to hunt, how EXP works, what every milestone gives and how to avoid losing EXP.
The climb at a glance
You level by killing monsters close to your level or above it. Every map has a level range, so you move to a new map every few levels. From Lv 100 the steps get steeper and maps run out faster. When the Lv 112 bar is full you become M1 (level 113), and the Master levels continue to M33 (level 145).
M33 is the end of the road: there are no God levels and no Rebirth. After M33 you keep filling the M33 bar, and every 1% of it gives +1 stat point (100 in total).
Where to level
This is the route Auto Level uses; map names are given for Noble Dragon / Royal Serpent / Grand Tiger, and each clan uses its own copy. Travel with the and the : every map in their lists shows its hunting range, for example (Lv 28-46) or (M15-M21). Auto Level aims a little above the labels, where monsters give more EXP.

(mostly) or , through the Guard in your clan town.
For the Master levels, follow the scroll labels: (M1-M18), then (M15-M21), then (M21-M33) or (M24-M33), then (M33). With Premium or Scroll of Seekers time, the islands give double EXP: (Lv 103-112), (M3-M11), (M15-M22), (M27-M33).
How EXP works
Weak monsters give nothing. Below Lv 100, a monster 10 or more levels below you gives 0 EXP, and each level of difference before that costs 10%. From Lv 100 to 112 every level counts as 3 monster levels, and every Master level as 6, so maps stop giving EXP much sooner.
Stronger monsters give more. +10% EXP for every monster level above you, up to 3 times when the monster is 20 or more monster levels higher. A monster is never too strong to give EXP, but it can kill you.
The top damage dealer gets the kill. EXP and drops go to the player who dealt the most damage, not the last hit. Hitting a monster someone else is already fighting usually gives you nothing.
Party bonus. When a party member kills a monster that gives EXP and at least 2 living members are on the same map, every living member on that map gets bonus EXP, whatever their level. Parties hold up to 5 players.
If you are more than 9 levels above a monster, you also get no drops from it.
Monster names are colored by level: a very dark name means no EXP for you, and a red name means the monster is far above you (up to 3 times EXP, but dangerous).
Points per level
Every level-up also refills your HP and MP. M2 to M33 give no skill points, so plan your M1 bonus well. Auto Level spends skill points for you, but stat points are always yours to spend: the Character button blinks while you have unspent points.
Big milestones
Lv 30 and Lv 60: your clan's 4th/5th and then 6th/7th skill books can be used.
Lv 90: the Lv 90 dungeons and fields open ( needs M33).
Lv 112: the big wall. It needs about 21 times the EXP of Lv 111. Reaching M1 takes about 31.7 million EXP in total.
M1 (level 113): no quest needed. You get +1,000 bonus skill points, +30 stat points per level from now on, and the Master maps open: talk to the Guard in your clan town for and Odawa Cave. Lv 100-112 maps fade quickly; from M2 they give nothing.
M33 (level 145): the cap. Claim the M33 box, use the 8th, 9th and 10th skill books, and keep filling the M33 bar for up to 100 extra stat points.
Level reward boxes
You get one free gear box at nine levels. Each box holds your clan's 6-piece set: weapon, armor, boots, gloves, ring and amulet. PC: confirm in the reward window, or open it later with the Bonus Item button. Mobile: tap CLAIM REWARD in the Level Reward window. Then open the box from your bag.
A full bag loses nothing: make room and claim again. If you pass several reward levels without claiming, you get the boxes one by one, oldest first.
The set weapon matches your clan: Blade (Noble Dragon), Katana (Royal Serpent) or Long Spear (Grand Tiger). If you use another weapon type, the set weapon stays in your bag and the other pieces are still worn.
EXP boosts
New characters start with 3 hours of Awareness Tablet time and 3 hours of EXP Booster time. Each doubles EXP, so together you earn 4 times the EXP. The timers do not run while you are in your clan's home town, so they start counting when you leave for the first dungeon.
Premium Service doubles character EXP and halves the EXP you lose when a monster kills you. Supporter Premium adds +25% EXP.
Islands give double EXP. Active Premium is enough to enter; without Premium, Scroll of Seekers time goes down while you stay, and you are sent back to town when it runs out.
EXP Potions and Awakening Water only work up to Lv 112. Any time left on them is removed when you reach M1, so do not start a new one right before M1.
Dying
Below Lv 10, dying costs nothing.
From Lv 10 to M32, being killed by a normal monster costs 25% of the EXP you have inside your current level (12.5% with Premium). You never lose a level.
At M33 a monster death costs 10 CP instead of EXP.
Bosses and special monsters, other players and war stones cost you no EXP.
With Auto Level on, a 2nd death within 30 minutes moves you one area lower for a while, and a 3rd death within 30 minutes stops it. Get stronger (stats, gear), then start Auto Hunt again.
Tips
Turn on Auto Level from the Auto Hunt window: it is free, follows this route, learns your core skills and opens your reward boxes.
Spend stat points whenever the Character button blinks. Nobody does it for you.
Keep potions on the skill bar: Auto Hunt drinks only from the bar.
cannot be entered during Holy Stone Battle (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings). Hunt somewhere else then.
Party up for the Lv 112 wall: everyone on the map shares the party bonus.
