Stuck, Bugs and Reports
Stuck on the map? Found a bug? A player bothering you? Here is what to do on PC and mobile, and what to send to the team. High ping from mainland China? See the NetEase UU steps below.
Stuck on the map
Mobile: MENU > Settings > ACCOUNT > 'Return to town (stuck)' > GO. After a short countdown you are back in town.
It works once every 60 seconds, and not while you are dead or changing maps. If it is not ready, the game tells you why.
PC: open a ticket on our Discord with your character name and the map.
Report a bug
Mobile: Settings > REPORT (bottom bar). Write a short description and add a screenshot; it goes straight to the team. You can send one every 30 minutes.
PC and mobile: post it in the bug-report channel on our Discord, or open a ticket. Wrong translations can be sent the same way.
Your character name, platform (PC, Android or iPhone), where it happened (map, NPC or window), what happened, the steps to make it happen again, and a screenshot or video.
Using a bug instead of reporting it can lead to a ban.
Report a player
Mobile: in chat, hold the player's name > 'Copy chat log'. The log is copied to your clipboard (it is not sent by itself): paste it into a ticket on our Discord.
PC: take a screenshot of the chat and open a ticket with the player's name.
Crashes and logs
PC: after a crash the game saves a crash report in its 'Crash' folder. Send the whole folder in a ticket.
Mobile: if the team asks for a log, use Settings > ACCOUNT > 'Share session log' > SHARE.
High ping from mainland China (NetEase UU)
Our server is in Singapore. China Telecom and China Unicom send the connection there on a long route through Japan and the USA, so the ping is about 220-240 ms, with spikes at busy hours. This is a network route, not a game problem. China Mobile goes there directly (about 40 ms), and players in Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Thailand are not affected.
PC (Windows)
Go to uu.163.com/download, download the PC accelerator, install it, open it and sign in.
Type exodus2 in the search box and click Exodus2 Online.
Press accelerate and wait until UU shows it is accelerating.
Close the game and open it again. Every time: start UU first, then the game.
Mobile (Android and iPhone)
Android: get the mobile accelerator from uu.163.com/download, or search for NetEase UU in your app store.
iPhone: search for NetEase UU in the App Store and install it.
Open UU, sign in, search exodus2 and accelerate it. The mobile version is listed in UU too.
Fully close the game and open it again.
Type exodus2, not just "exodus": "exodus" also shows other games such as Metro Exodus.
With another accelerator (for example Xunyou or LeiShen), send a game request for Exodus2 in that app and pick a Singapore node if you can. On China Mobile you usually do not need an accelerator.
If your ping is high and your device uses China time or the Chinese language, the game also shows these steps at character selection (once a day; you can turn it off).
